The journey to the mountaintop is hard. There are times when we can see where we’re going, where we can’t go back. Sometimes we cross chasms, sometimes we hang there for hours on end, just trying to hold on. Sometimes we don’t know if we’ll ever reach the end. The lies we tell ourselves become our truth if we say them long enough. But the peak will come. Those little glimpses of beauty along the way, there were only that, just glimpses, and now we can see the top. The view we get from the top, that makes all the struggles and heartache we endured along the way worth it. And that’s true for this story. Azure Mountaintop chronicles both my story in the past, and the future we have to look forward to. More battles may yet come, but these scars have made us stronger. And that’s what this website is about. The past, the future, the things I’ll never forget, and the people I love. The sunrise is yet to come.
