Our friends

We have many friends here at our hotel, Hotel Baroca.  I will tell you about them.  The first one we met was Carlos, a very kind and helpful man.  He speaks good English which is nice for communication with those who don’t.  He was there when we walked through the doors to the hotel with Maribel and has always been there asking if we need anything or if our stay is okay (which it certainly has and I don’t think we could have chosen a more hospitable hotel if we asked for one).

Our next friend is the manager and owner of this hotel. She is very kind and always gives Yerlys, Juan, and Jose hugs and kisses every time she sees them.

Our next friend is Francisco who is very funny. When we come back from Exito (which is like a Target) or another store he will help us carry our groceries to our room.

The people here at our hotel are so helpful, hospitable, kind, and thoughtful. If you can’t tell already, we are friends with just about everyone here. there is a big lobby, a restaurant with real Colombian food, a gym on the roof, a pool on the roof, and more. I can’t help but believe that God carefully selected this hotel for us before we knew we were even coming to Colombia.
