Wow! Three new siblings! Wednesday was very chaotic or else I would have posted. I’ll tell you how Wednesday went. We were very excited on our way to meet the children Wednesday. They came in with smiles and they left with sobs. Once they were okay, we enjoyed swimming in the hotel pool on a hot day. When we met the kids I gave my camera to a lady to take pictures but she didn’t take any! So I don’t have any pictures from the day we met the kids.
The good thing is that someone took a video for us, though. It was our translator. I’ll tell you how we met her. Well, we were on our way from Bogota to Monteria on what was supposed to be a very quick flight when we flew right through a storm! I am prone to motion sickness so this did not go well for me. All the jolting and bumping and lightning added up to what made me sick. I reached for the bag but some went on my shirt and shorts. It was rather humiliating. When our very kind translator Maribel arrived she understood completely. She grew up here in Monteria and lives here now. She speaks very good English which is a relief for us after being emmersed in a language that is hard for us to understand. We are trying hard to learn it though. I got some good pictures of the kids this morning. Here they are:
