Arrival!!

We safely arrived in Bogota, Colombia!  My dad woke me up at about 4:30 and I was ready for our big day about 5:30.  My cousin Abby took us to the Rochester Airport about 6:00 and we boarded our plane about 7:00.  From Rochester we flew to Chicago, where I had a breakfast from McDonald’s of a Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit.  From Chicago we flew to Miami about 10:00, where we flew over the Everglades and I saw my first real palm tree!  At 3:30 we boarded the long-awaited flight to Bogota! When we arrived in Bogota at about 7:00, we were greeted warmly by our fluent-in-nothing-but-spanish driver, Andres (Also, we are fluent in anything but spanish).  He brought to a very nice adoptive family Bed and Breakfast where I write this very blog post.

Although we arrived safely, two of our suitcases did not.  They were lost.  But I thought; God has never left us on this journey and he never will.  So now the suitcases have been located and should be sent to us tomorrow.  God loves us and He is faithful.
